I miss Montreal!!

I have just been thinking so much about it lately. I wish I had planned a summer trip to Montreal too. I'm leaving tonight to Istanbul and then to Barcelona. I can't wait! then I'm taking another trip to Lebanon in August. But I also wish I thought of Montreal. Maybe next summer should be about a whole month there!
I don't know we'll see. As for now! I just want to get out of work and go pack my bags! YAY

Solutions to World Problems

Al Gathafi, Check out his webpage. If you take time to read carefully, you will notice he seems to have the solutions to many problems. ;) enjoy.

Stella Awards

It's time once again to review the winners of the Annual "Stella Awards." The Stella Awards were named after 81 year-old Stella Liebeck, who spilled hot coffee on herself and successfully sued McDonald's (in the state of New Mexico). That case inspired the Stella Awards for the most frivolous and ridiculous, yet successful, lawsuits in the United States.

Here are this year's winners:

5th Place (tie):

Kathleen Robertson of Austin, Texas, was awarded $80,000 by a jury of her peers after breaking her ankle tripping over a toddler who was running inside a furniture store. The owners of the store were understandably surprised at the verdict, considering the misbehaving little toddler was Ms. Robertson's son.

5th Place (tie):
19-year-old Carl Truman of Los Angeles won $74,000 and medical expenses when his neighbor ran over his hand with a Honda Accord. Mr. Truman apparently didn't notice there was someone at the wheel of the car when he was trying to steal his neighbor's hubcaps.

5th Place (tie):
Terrence Dickson of Bristol, Pennsylvania, was leaving a house he had just finished robbing by way of the garage. He was not able to get the garage door to go up since the automatic door opener was malfunctioning. He couldn't re-enter the house because the door connecting the house and garage locked when he pulled it shut. The family was on vacation, and Mr. Dickson found himself locked in the garage for eight days. He subsisted on a case of Pepsi he found and a large bag of dry dog food. He sued the homeowner's insurance company claiming the situation caused him undue mental anguish. The jury agreed to the tune of $500,000.

4th Place:
Jerry Williams of Little Rock, Arkansas, was awarded $14,500 and medical expenses after being bitten on the buttocks by his next door neighbor's beagle. The beagle was on a chain in its owner's fenced yard. The award was less than sought because the jury felt the dog might have been just a little provoked at the time by Mr. Williams who had climbed over the fence into the yard and was shooting it
>repeatedly with a pellet gun.

3rd Place:
A Philadelphia restaurant was ordered to pay Amber Carson of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, $113,500 after she slipped on a soft drink and broke her coccyx (tailbone). The beverage was on the floor because Ms. Carson had thrown it at her boyfriend 30 seconds earlier during an argument.

2nd Place:
Kara Walton of Claymont, Delaware, successfully sued the owner of a night club in a neighboring city when she fell from the bathroom window to the floor and knocked out her two front teeth. This occurred while Ms.Walton was trying to sneak through the window in the ladies room to avoid paying the $3.50 cover charge. She was awarded $12,000 and dental expenses.

1st Place:
This year's run away winner was Mrs. Merv Grazinski of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Mrs. Grazinski purchased a brand new 32-foot Winnebago motor home. On her first trip home, (from an OU football game), having driven onto the freeway, she set the cruise control at 70 mph and calmly left the driver's seat to go into the back and make herself a sandwich. Not surprisingly, the RV left the freeway, crashed and overturned. Mrs. Grazinski sued Winnebago for not advising her in the owner's manual that she couldn't actually do this. The jury awarded her $1,750,000 plus a new motor home. The company actually changed their manuals on the basis of this suit, just in case there were any other complete morons around.

Lost Theories!

Ok I just finished Lost not too too long ago... and jsut basically sat there thinking about it. Then I found a post about theories online, I went to check it out and from there My search on Lost has been endless and addictive, theory after theory, Then I found Lostpedia.... and oh my god, I think I acutally have it in me to read the whole damn thing. Maybe I can simply buy it instead of reading it online. In any case this encyclopedia about Lost is crazy. Check it out Lostpedia.

ITA-USA

Ehm Ehm, well, I'm sure they were, you know, just a bit tired, No big deal this is not the end! It's idiotic, and they pissed the $%^ out of me after scoring TWO cute goals, being equal and fair to both teams... You know Fifa says, my game is fair game, Well good way of proving it guys. No worries. No worries, We're going to nicely send Czech back home next game. Here are the standings for the time being.

Relaxing weekend.

Well Nothing much was happening in Kuwait this weekend, except for the games of course, so it seems noone did anything except sit there on the TV chilling at home. As for me, I guess I did the same, I didn't see much people. I simply head out to the beach on thursday, Had a nice day at SAS, and then ended up home watching a movie. Friday... well I couldnt even find the patience for the beach wich was weird, so I didn't end up going, and had lunch with a few freinds I hadn't seen in a long time, and continued on for the games. I guess that was pretty much it. I'm at work, my boss is out of town, I'm thinking I should just head to the beach..!! lol do nothing anymore but tan. :P

Post Secret this week.

I picked out two secrets, I still think a few months ago the secrets were much better, but here are these two. The marriage one I picked becasue I think a friend of mine is doing the same, and I just wish she had the courage to admit she was wrong about them being made for each other, instead of proving to everyone they are wrong about something they weren't... before she got pregnant. The speedo, well because I also sometimes wish I'm in Europe not for the speedo but for the topless ;)

KAKA!

I am not a brazil fan, last night's game was ok. I mean they usually play a good game, but yesterday they just didn't feel like playing much, croatia kept pushing till the end, was pretty cool. Though till now I think I enjoyed Australia's win the most..... lol Not an autralia fan either, I know you can tell from my last post, Italy's who I'm cheering. But Australia's game was fun!

The week is almost over!

Long week at work, for some reason it was extremly slow. Tomorrow last day of the week, the weathr cleared up so the beach it is all weekend, ok or one day, Maybe catch up on some sleep cause the World Cup is killing me. And to make my week longer, my cooworker ditched work and messaged me that he's on the beach trying real real hard to get a tan!... and that my seat was waiting.... which on course made my day even longer. :S It's all good. There's a new Sushi place in town, asked my friend if he'd like to join. We might go try is during the france game, thought i don't feel like missing the game, but i can't stop my life completly. The new place is called Maki, in marina salmiya. Will let you know how it is if I make it tonight.

GO Italy!

Yep, with no worry of course, Italy won the first game they played. GOO ITALIA!.....

Been a while!

It's been a while since I posted, but it's ok, I reorganised my blog ;), no more talking about things that are bad for you, from now on all good. First, let me say I'm getting very excited that my summer trip is coming up. 28th of june leaving for a 10 day trip to Istanbul and Barcelona, It's all reserved and done all we need to do now it wait for the time to pass. Should be an amazing trip especially that the weather here is Kuwait is getting worse and worse and much sooner than usual. The sand storm has been going for about 2 days now, the wind is crazy, and its election time so all the freaky banners all over the street have become extremely hazardous to all the drivers out there. They are huge banners and with the strong wind the banners are falling onto the street... and if a car was under it at that moment I don't want to tell you what would've happened to it. Accidents have been happening everyday, I just hope they are sueing, the person who's face is on that banner. Maybe all the rich guys in kuwait can start spreading their money to the rest of the country :P. Work has been crazy in the past few days, but been better today taking it a little easier. And world cup is also on, so good times!... My Italy game is tonight, and I jsut installed ART yesterday cause these 2 other channels I was counting on well... been trying for 3 days didn't work. So ART it became. Hope you are all enjoying too.
